First, though, one piece of news. Marshawn Lynch’s attorney, Ivan Golde, said Friday night that Lynch’s trial for a 2012 DUI arrest, has been pushed back to Feb. 21. Here is some detail on the history of the DUI arrest. The most relevant aspect of this for now is that Lynch won’t go to trial until after the season is over and it won’t impact his playing status this season in any way;

Nice to see that situation handled in a way that doesn't affect this season.

This is great news. I was really worried it could become a problem in a couple weeks. Imagine if Lynch was suspended before the SuperBowl or something.

Now even if things go horribly wrong for him and he has to miss time, this will give us plenty of time to prepare and get Michael ready for Week 1 next season.
