I'm kind of hoping they give Haniger a qualifying offer, along with a good faith promise to negotiate a new deal.

Couple of things.. 1) We got two talented pieces right there.. Jared and White, two diamonds in the rough but just not cutting it. I expected White to be a Olerud type hitter, perhaps not the ave but still a consistant hitter.

2, What is the issue with France at 2nd base?

Because being listed as a 2nd baseman as one of his positions in wikipedia doesnt make you a 2nd baseman

He literally has almost no experience at the MLB level at 2nd base at all.... My question is why do people keep calling it his "natural" position.

As far as I understood, he came up a 2nd baseman.. probably why.

France has solidified himself as a 1st Baseman. He's maybe not quite as tall as desired for one, and he's not left handed, but he fits the bill as a near gold glove defender who hits for a little power and good average. Pretty much the definition of a corner infielder.

Dipoto said both corners of the outfield and an infielder top priority. Keyword = both.
