And look at that, the fat joke crew will have to wait yet again. 2 for 2. Keep it rollin E :2thumbs:

No need for that. There are enough butt hurt Packer fans to keep that "rollin".

I think it's hilarious that people dont want him because 'fat'.

The guy knows the position and how to play it.

You know who was always in great shape? Christine Michael.

I think the weight though may have contributed to some of his injuries and performance lapses. I realize power backs go a little heavy, but teams don't want a Vince Wilfork in the backfield either.

Again? I understand it was under 250.... But the exact number?

The weight bonuses are: $55,000 if Lacy weighed in at 255 pounds or less in May, $55,000 each if he was at 250 or below this month and in August, and $55,000 each if he weighs 245 pounds at the in-season weigh-ins..

That 245-pound mark is where Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he thinks Lacy can be at his best for Seattle
, though the coach emphasizes he wants Lacy to be big and run big.

245 seems perfect for him, especially for how Pete wants to use him.
Funny how nobody bats an eye at the Dontari Poe weigh in at less than 340 pounds. But if it's a Seahawk, people lose their minds.

No one bats an eye because Poe is a defensive lineman not a running back.

I get that, not my point. Anything Seahawks gets massively blown out of proportion.
Well it is a "Seahawks" fan board.

Why not? Do you remember this?

Tomorrow Lacy has another $55,000 weigh in at 250. Hopefully he wins and China food loses. 8)

Tuesday this week Lacy had his next weigh in day and the team has reported nothing on this that I can find.

Anyone hear the results of this? This seems weird nobody has picked up this story.

If he has made his weight we would have heard about it. Don't think the team wound go out of its way to point out he didn't hit the mark

Unfortunately I agree and that was my thought as well.

It's entirely possible - if odd - that he passed and they were just slow in reporting it.

I never bought the argument that this training camp and season represented a higher degree of external motivation for him to stay on track than he has faced before and failed with.

Going into FA, NOBODY doubted his ability as a running back. The only question mark whatsoever was weight. He knew it, his agent knew it. He could have shaved the weight following last season and certainly commanded a larger contract than the one he ended up with.

The day the Packers season ended to the day his contract was signed was the peak of external motivation. Right now he has 2.8 guaranteed and 2.8 in bonuses. Only 385k of those bonuses are tied to weight directly, although he surely must understand that his physical shape will help him reach the other goals.

But this offseason there were millions more at stake for him and it wasn't enough. And he had just gone through the hard-knocks experience of having a down year and Green Bay letting him walk because of it.

Learning isn't always linear; he may have eaten himself out of GB and out of a bigger contract but finally hit some moment where it sinks in that hey, there aren't an unlimited number of chances out there. The pessimistic side of me is just seeing a guy who has a real struggle with this. Wish him well for the sake of our team, and dearly hope to eat crow when he trucks his way through 2017, but when you have a problem that has already futzed about with your career to this extent, it's a pretty serious problem.

Well, if he didn't pass it, now people can say "I told you so"
whatever makes someone feel better, even if it hurts the team :?
