I was legit worried Russ was going to reclaim his old mojo after that 10/10 1TD first quarter.

Nope.
The average air yards on 8 of those 10 was probably sub 5 yards. The other 2 were a back shoulder fade on a scramble + the busted coverage TD. Looked very similar to the early drives against us. The problem is he can't do that for more than a couple drives before he gets inpatient

Mr. Quarter of a Billion Dollars QB no doubt has people smart enough to tell him kindly to STFU when it comes to his stupid, hollow catchphrases when the Titanic is sinking. Enough already. Had he said "Let's Ride" at the end of his presser after tonight? The onslaught would have been near fatal. Russ has never, ever faced this amount of adversity and collective critique since he was a professional football player.

At some point humility needs to take precedence over this over inflated sense of worth. The "Brand" and "Legacy" only holds as much value as what you do on the field. With each loss and poor performance, both are taking mighty blows. At this stage, his idea to be the best QB to ever play the game is beyond laughable.

And what a shame. At one point, not too long ago in fact, I thought he might have that shot.

Silly me.

More talent, better protection and more control lol.
His people been real quiet on that control piece since the first game. Broncos fans and the media have completely forgot about that quote from Russell about how it's a player run offense. They're happy to let Hackett get torched

Russ looks like he has dead eyes in his press conference.
Thousand yard stare. Russ is lost, mentally weak, in over his head and being attacked from every angle. He hasn't the first clue on how to handle a situation like this. He left quite literally the kindest/gentlest environment in Seattle to an absolute pool of piranhas in Denver and he only has himself to thank for it. The sports media is calling him out, the Denver fanbase is turning on him and it would appear he's lost the locker room. Game, set, match.
