I'm not gonna do the homework to confirm this...

But I would not be surprised if we are the first team in NFL history to go 6-10 with a +23 point differential.

We are in all likely hood the best 6-10 team in NFL history based on point differential...

If anyone knows otherwise that would be fascinating. I don't have the patience to look through decades of data.

Mathematically we might be the worst ever in this category.

I think we can fairly discount the 17th game since it's never happened before.

I base my assumption on the current NFL standings where teams with our record or better are nearly 100 points worst in point differential on average.

So Hawks have to settle for being first to go 7-10 with a +29 point differential...
