He has had some of the most memorable plays. Please take some lessons from Russell Wilson. Get your yardage and get down.

Ha Ha but Gurley is supposed to be great ..How does this happen? On Ryans run,I think he goes to the house had he not bobbled it which slowed him down.Great play call and run till the bobble.I hope Ryan stays with us for a long time.

It's funny. It looks like he was reaching down to transfer the ball to his other arm when he bobbled it.

Hope he'll be OK. At least we get 9 days rest.

The K balls are really slick he should have tucked it and slid instead of trying to transfer it.

What's the old saying, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt?

That call was nothing more than Pete's ego wanting a special teams revenge against a team that's had his number for 2-3 years.

Terrible call, no reason to call that up 24-3 with 5 minutes left...........and it's REALLY going to be terrible if Ryan is out next week.

Disagree. A first down there was much better than punting it to one of the fastest guys on the field who might make it a closer game really quickly.

Agreed. Nice to see someone with some play-calling clarity in here.

An ego play that introduced far too much risk. I'd go beyond even calling it ego - it was just a weird call period at that time in that game.

But that's kind of been the feel of this entire season so far.

Hope it comes together for us come playoff time.

You are up three scores at that point, the opponent can't move the ball but they can return punts. Worst case they will take more time off the clock trying to score from the 30ish yard line, best case you take at least 2 more minutes off the clock.

The real issue is that Ryan got so much open field that he got greedy. He should simply have gone down well before he did

That play was HILARIOUS! :2thumbs:

I'm glad Pete called it. A poke in Jeff Fisher's eye! You know he was at home, watching the game, hoping "his guys" would beat the SEahawks for him, in their house, and what happens? OH NO! LOL! Haha! Eat Shit Fisher!

What I'm glad about Pete Carroll, he never "plays not to lose." We had coaches that did that decades ago, and while it helped get wins in the regular season, it ruined the team's confidence, and they always bowed out in the playoffs.

Pete has instilled a confidence in this team that wins them games like this, and like the NFC Championship against Green Bay. Chuck Knox would not have won that game.

C'mon, the Rams had their backup in, who is even more inaccurate than Goff. This game was nowhere near in doubt with 5 minutes left.

If you do make that call, then you tell Ryan to slide as soon as he gets the first.

Believe me, this was Pete's ego, and that's all it was. He wanted one more dig into a special team's coach that made him look stupid 2-3 times.

Do people think Pete calls plays at designed at provoking or "getting back" at someone. He is to conservative for that stuff. He is about the percentages. That was a well called play. The saw something and exploited it. Who cares about the Rams feelings on the play. We wanted the first down (and got tons more) to burn the clock. Look at every play we ran before that and after that. Burn clock plays. Why is everyone reading so much more into it. Everyone wants a conspiracy or controversy. Its just football. Besides we were winning comfortably and our D was playing very well.

Honestly... it's almost laughable it wasn't permeating nearly every thread in the place today.

And if this team doesn't win a Super Bowl our expert psyco analyzers will be tails up with their "I told you so's"

This will be Ryan's last running play. But a 31 yard gain isn't bad. Hope he gets himself well for Arizona next week.
