If the Seahawks really value proving yourself through competition (and they have shown in the past they do), then Pope should be a Seahawk.

Sproles is much faster, quicker, has better hands and break away speed. Pope is quick, shifty and has a great low center of gravity. Whether or not he has good hands is yet to be seen. I like the kid much better than Collins, however.

Well one things for sure. Pope will not be working a factory job just yet. If he gets cut he will end up on a 53 somewhere. WAAAAAAY too good not to be noticed and WAAAAAY to many bad teams in need.

I think the problem is that Collins has proven it in practice. It is Procise's roster spot that Pope deserves. It is really hard to cut a 3rd pick that is still very likely to be a unique talent. I think they have to hope Pope can stick on the practice squad. It wouldn't surprise me if Collins doesn't make it but he will be on an NFL roster in minutes.

And then he will be released by whoever was silly enough to pick him up....in minutes.

Sproles is 5' 6" 190, Pope is 5' 10" 207. They might look like little speed guys, but Pope runs angry.
Pope would be 5'-10" in 2" elevated shoes.
He is actually 5'-8".

His college page says 5'9" 205

Pro Day is the most accurate measurement we will get; it says Pope is closer to 5'7 than he is to 5'9.

College rosters usually add an inch or two. And sometimes NFL rosters will use the inaccurate college measurement . . . for years.
