Draft week is finally here. Let's see what everyone's predictions are.

My predictions

-Schneider grabs a QBotF at 5. Everyone is speculating on Richardson (myself included) but it ends up being Stroud or Levis.

-Trade down at 20 for an extra 4th, then use that 4th to trade up into the late 2nd.

-No WR or TE are drafted.

-2 RB are drafted.

-JL skinner is the target of the trade up.

We take Levis at 5 and then half this board pretends they havnt been trashing him for months. Then we'll be surfeited with hindsight heroes for years if he turns out to be good.

We make a small trade-up from 20 for Drew Sanders.

My gut is telling me that Anthony Richardson and Jalen Carter are the 2 guys they are targeting more than anyone else. One of them will be drafted by Seattle on Thursday night. If one is off the board when they pick, the decision is easy. If both are available, I have no idea how they are leaning. If both are gone (highly unlikely) I see a trade down.

Richardson, Cater, Wilson are my dream targets.

Anderson and Stroud seem like possible gets but those two just don't get me juiced.

We take a top defensive player at 5, then package 20 and 37 to move up and get Richardson after he falls out of the top ten. Which means he'll probably go in the top four. Lol.

In keeping with the age old tried and true constant with Seahawks drafting under Schneider, we trade down both 1st round picks.

So my prediction;

No. 11 overall: EDGE Nolan Smith
No. 25 overall: OG O’Cyrus Torrence
No. 37 overall: C Joe Tippman
No. 43 overall: DT Mazi Smit

I'm saying Richardson with a trade down to Witherspoon as my #2

Potential even say probable major productivity now with a fearsome Defensive line? Or, a chance on possible QBoF that will need more time to develop once he plays later?

Give me Jalen Carter with a chip on his shoulder for being passed over to pair with Jones, Reed, ?... They're all something of a risk when it comes down to it. Bring Carter into the culture.

Anderson if he's still on the board. If not, they grab Witherspoon.

I'll predict that we double up again at a few positions: RB, Receiver (WR or TE), iOL and DL. And a very easy prediction that we're going to sign like 28 UDFAs and 3 or more of them will make the 53 man roster.

We make a small trade-up from 20 for Drew Sanders.
I was thinking about this one too. Sanders wasn't that exciting to me as a traditional off-ball linebacker initially. However, if you start thinking about the rumors that we might be trying to play Jamal more at LB then Sanders starts to look like an obvious front office target. Much bigger, more explosive athlete with similar speed and top tier pass rushing instincts. If Sanders plays in passing situations this year and then supplants Jamal next season that's an enormous savings.

-No WR or TE are drafted.
Is that over the entire draft? If so, our entire 2024 WR/TE room as of now is $24.5m DK, $24m Lockett, $10.1m Dissly, $1m Young, and $1.9m Eskridge. We'd save $17m moving on from Lockett and Dissly so it really feels like we need more cheap youth in there this off-season.

Going for accuracy by volume:

- Seattle trades down from #5. The return is underwhelming and does not include a 1st round pick in 2024.

- One of Mazi Smith/Keeanu Benton/Zacch Pickens will be a Seahawk

- One of Keion White/Ade Ade/Will McDonald will be a Seahawk

- One of Cameron Young/Byron Young (Ten)/Byron Young (Ala) will be a Seahawk

- One of Trenton Simpson/Daiyan Henley/Jack Campbell will be a Seahawk

- One of Dee Winters/Owen Pappoe/Ventrell Miller will be a Seahawk

- One of Luke Musgrave/Luke Schoonmaker/Darnell Washington will be a Seahawk

- One of Steve Avila/Braeden Daniels/John Michael Schmitz will be a Seahawk

- The RB they draft will be over 210+ lbs

No predictions, but I would like it if we address some holes:

Offense:
  1. OL: get a gaurd or a tackle to guard project, and a center.
  2. WR: get a 3WR and a late round big WR as DK backup.
  3. TE: trade Fant and his contract, then draft a TE
  4. RB: draft Carson clone.
Defense:
  1. DL: get a NT , a backup NT, and a 3tech.
  2. LB: get a MLB,
  3. ED: get one
All above assuming John and Pete didn't find a must have QB, 1682458582028
