A lot of people are trying to say this is like our 2012 draft, but IMO it's more like the 2011 draft.
Some key cornerstone players, but only the first draft of the 2-3 drafts necessary to finally compete. Obviously with the biggest glaring need still at QB.
So yes, I think 6-10 is fair. I'm still excited with who we drafted, but IMO still a LOT of needs, and hopefully some really good piece building blocks to turning this roster over to compete again.
6-11...we have added some great pieces to the puzzle, but the puzzle still needs some work. Players will have to gel together and that's not going to happen right away. I have faith that either Lock or Geno can pull around 6 wins and hopefully more. I'm also hoping this team can surprise everyone leaving many with a good old fashion serving of crow. I would happily eat my serving.
9-8 mainly due to the defense. Offensively they'll have some growing pains with Lock but this team is young and will respond well. I say they're middle of the pack which would position them nicely for a shot at Stroud in next year's draft in all likelihood
This is a 4-6 win roster on paper imo.
And I'm ok with that. We need to get the foundation secured first, then build the nice house. This draft was a step in the right direction.
