Riq is still learning to jam WRs at the line. He wasn't very physical last year. I think Devon is rubbing off on him and he is sticking his nose in more. That's a good thing. But he was pretty bad at it last year, outright missing WRs regularly when attempting contact at the LOS or just beyond it. The advantage was his catchup speed.

He will probably figure it out. Honestly, more of our WRs should be doing the same thing to offset DBs getting hands on them.

Then the logical step would be to simulate this in practice so as soon as the head is lowered or the hand is close to contact, immediately back off, like touching a hot stove. I would think the pros would already be doing this but I guess they aren't
