So it's super earlier, but I was thinking of something that my mom and I do every year. During the preseason we predict who will lead their divisions by the end of the year, writing it down and what not to archive it. By November we take our August predictions, reevaluate and can make changes and then let it stand for the rest of the year. We usually do this for bragging rights but it's also fun to do.

Here are mine;

Seahawk_Dan

NFC West - Seahawks
NFC East - Redskins
NFC North - Packers
NFC South - Carolina

AFC West - Raiders

AFC South - Jaguars

Momma Seahawk_Dan

NFC West - Seahawks
NFC East - Giants
NFC North - Packers
NFC South - Carolina

AFC West - Chiefs
AFC East - Jets
AFC North - Bengals
AFC South - Jaguars

What are some of your predictions so far?

NFC West - Seahawks

NFC North - Packers
NFC South - Panthers

AFC West - Chiefs
AFC North - Bengals
AFC East - Cheatriots
AFC South - Jaguars

EDIT: changed my AFC South pick to Jacksonville. Colts are a mess, don't think Brock Ostrich can get Texans in and Titans aren't there yet. So, Jags by default with an 8-8 record.

NFC East - Redskins
NFC North - Packers
NFC South - Panthers
NFC West - Seahawks/Cardinals finish with the same record so a tie. Who wins the tiebreaker? Too many variables to decide that.

AFC East - Patriots
AFC North - Steelers
AFC South - Texans
AFC West - Raiders

W - Seahawks - hoping they don't get off to their usual slow start and give AZ a head start on the division
S - Panthers - whatever they lost on defense their offense will make up for
E - Cowboys - their defense might be awful, but their offense should be pretty good
N - Vikings - they'll have to battle GB, but I think they will win it again

AFC
W - Chiefs - good all around team
S - Texans - who the hell knows
E - Bills - anybody but the Patriots, but probably the Patriots.
N - Steelers - I think it'll come down to Steelers and Bengals again

Not sure I understand what you mean about the Chargers. The league has never cared about them. Care to explain your reasoning?

They want a new stadium, NFL tends to prop up and want as much coverage as they can get, playoffs do that and peak interest, usually makes the population more positive towards teams. Will make it less money the NFL will need to subsidize the Stadium build when and when it happens.

Same take on the Rams with their situation, they want the people to fill a stadium on a re located team.

The vote which is not passing is in early November. No one will even care by the play-offs. A strong Charger season probably makes it more likely Spanos decides to challenge the Rams in LA.

Your referencing the climate in San Diego, I was referring to what the league probably would want to sell the Chargers better to the people.
