With less than two weeks to go before Super Bowl XLVIII, I have one, clear message for Richard Sherman:

Keep being Richard Sherman.

I don't want him to hide. I don't want him to apologize. I want Sherman to keep being the intelligent, loquacious, emotional face of this Super Bowl.

Yes, you read that correctly. Forget Peyton Manning and his legacy -- Sherman is the wonderful and fantastic face of the New York Super Bowl. And it's simply outstanding.

I finally remembered to look for this clip. It surprises me that so many people are treating this incident as teh first time they have seen an interview like this in the NFL. Has everyone forgotten this one? It had pretty much the same elements. Instead of going after one player, Bart Scott disrespected the entire Pats defense. He called out a few members of the ESPN crew. And he was just as "aggressive" as people are accusing Sherman of being. The biggest difference I see is how much more attractive Erin Andrews is than Sal :)
