A win by the Seahawks on Saturday would notch the overall series record at 10-10.

The Seahawks have won the last three meetings against Dallas and four of the last five.

The Seahawks also won their last two games at AT&T Stadium.

They have met once in the playoffs: the infamous 2006 NFC Wild Card Game. Tony Romo famously bobbled the Cowboys go-ahead, 19-yard field goal, which resulted in a 21-20 Seahawks victory.

Most folks forget......
There was 1:30 left at the FG attempt. Hass would have had time to take them down field and kick a game winning FG.

Worst thing that could have happened almost did, Romo going down at the 2 and getting a first down, where they could milk the clock and then re-attempt another FG. You’d rather him score a TD than what I described because there would still be time left for you offense.

Dallas got the ball back in that game after Seattle punted, time for a failed Hail Mary attempt.

I seem to remember our secondary being really banged up going into that game. Didn’t someone literally get signed and play that week. Also didn’t that worse case scenario look like it happened before the ill fated FG attempt? Where it looked like the Cowboys got the first down so set up a last play FG but after review the ball was moved back.

Not a great game, but the condensed version is short and worth a re-watch:

Breakout game for Chris Carson. Defense played well. Dallas generated a lot of pressure, as expected, but the game plan of running the ball did a nice job slowing their rush.

Keys to the game
1. Stop Elliott.
2. Pressure Dak.
3. Use run game to slow their pass rush.
4. Play action to attack the middle of the field.
