Hi -

I'm obviously getting waaaaaaaaaay ahead of myself here. With the way that the Hawks season and the Steelers seasons are going - who would love to see a Superbowl XL REMATCH!

I for one would love it! I would love to get some revenge for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N93VaUytd4w and wipe the smirks off their faces. I would also love to see us open up a can of DK on their asses.

I'm not as bitter about XL as I was - but you can dream ;)

Meh. Not the same players, not the same teams.

I'm a meh on it, but I probably don't count as, in 1996, I had been living off the grid in Alaska for 7 years, with month-old papers being my most up-to-date news.

The Universe seeks balance and I want to live in a Universe where I get to see the Seahawks beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl so I'm all for it! Especially since I was there and had to endure the pain on oh so many levels.

Absolutely don’t want a rematch. I don’t think you can ever be guaranteed a fair game in this business when so much is at stake for a “legacy team” with coast to coast fans. Of course, we are also a much more of known commodity with a stronger fan base than we were in 2005 so maybe it doesn’t make a difference

I think it’s KC or Baltimore that will actually represent the AFC when it’s all said and done.

Can we can put Jerome Bettis' undeserved Hall of Fame position at stake?

It would be the ultimate story book ending.
I'm still not over that game. I'll never be over that game.

We were robbed. We were bamboozled. It was a great sham and that team deserved better.
I took that loss way too hard.
And with Roethlisberger still playing, it would be revenge!!

Ben wasn't even the best QB on his team that day.

I wouldn't enjoy a rematch because that would dominate the storyline. Playing Baltimore would be fun. Tough road to reach the game, though there's probably 4 or 5 NFC teams that have a legit shot.

I hold a huge grudge... but against the refs / NFL rather than the Steelers. Looking back, I can't remember if I was more mad after that SB, or the SB49 goal-line debacle.

I'm leaning towards SBXL, maybe because we'd atleast already won one, before SB49. And because we got ROBBED in SBXL, rather than robbing ourselves in SB49 lol.

Either way, I was a raging maniac after both games . Just bad bad memories. Thank god for SB48.

Hopefully not the same refs either.

ha ha. if Sean Hokoolie refs that game I will turn in my 1980 Junior NFL 'Future amazing sports guy' badge and never look back.
