Definitely knock on wood. Besides being a good team, it takes a little luck with injuries. They can mess up your season in a split second.
No question. Its not a matter of who assembles the best team to start the year. Its a game of attrition to see who is still standing at the end. More than a little luck is involved with every team to win a ring.

Hawks had pretty good luck with injuries the year they won the Super Bowl. The following year they got hit with several key injuries leading up to and during the game.
That sucks for him and them. I never wish serious injury on any player.

Initially I was thinking the same thing that “ that sucks tearing your ACL during a practice “ but thought about it for a while I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter if it happened during a practice or a game it’s still a torn ACL
