This is a very interesting time as several of these players have only just rec’d calls from the team but Tweet they have signed. Several of them as well are just here for the rookie camp.

I am always cautious about regarding the players as signed until it’s official.

AFAIK, he's still an UDFA. I think the major injuries he's already sustained are really making people nervous to pull the trigger.

There are a couple of guys that can motor in that group of safeties. Looks like someone is serious about finding that #3 safety for a big nickel package in 2022.

Yes because of Covid. Everyone was granted an extra year of eligibility. That’s also part of why the draft was so deep this year - lots of guys came out after playing an extra year in college.

This was my biggest gripe about the 2021 draft. It was a covid crapshoot the Hawks should have attempted to trade all of their 2021 picks for the 2022 draft. The draft is a crap shoot and the Covid draft was playing craps with loaded dice. Just look at Zach Wilson, if he played a normal 2020 season he would have gone in the 3rd round.
