IIRC Jerry Rice ran in the 4.7's, but that didn't seem to hamper him much. :D
Not a great comparison but I know what you are trying to do. This guy is like a better hands version of Mike Williams (also former Trojan and Seahawk).

The knock on Rogers is he isn't a good route runner.

Hopefully, Baldwin can teach him a thing or two!

I know I am a homer but I believe Doug Baldwin is top 5 best route runner in the league.

The only things they have in common is they both went to USC and wore #1.

I've seen every game Rogers and Williams played in college and they are not comparable at all. Mike Williams was a 6'5 240 lb. beast who ran a 4.6 in the 40 and made a number of one-handed catches. He had a poor work ethic, made poor decisions and his skills eroded as a result.

Rogers is a hard worker and he is a very smart, heady player. He will never be Doug Baldwin, but he has the potential to contribute and make plays. As stated above, he does the little things well like downfield blocking, and will fight like heck for a contested ball. I think he is a great UDFA pickup, and I think he will make the 53 man roster, if not this year than certainly next.
