Seemed like Thurmond would have been a better matchup for T.Y. Hilton. Players should set aside their pride and realize when a teammate may matchup better against guys kickin your butt. Sherman should have been assigned to Wayne all day. Not sure if the Colts are to be commended for forcing favorable matchups, but seemed like the Hawks didn't have the right guys covering their guys strength for strength. It felt like the Defense was more awkward today. Great to have Irvin back, though. Also, dodged a bullet with the Bennett scare last week.
What the Hawks needed today was better execution in all facets of the game. I'm sure they know that. I'm upset over a few questionable calls that extended Colts drives that perhaps should have ended (and perhaps been enough for a victory today.) But, can't control that. They are probably kicking themselves for not playing as disciplined as they are capable of playing. What bugs me about this loss is probably going to be a good thing for this team... there will be talk that the Colts are better and other comparisons. Hope this team can get healthy and firing on all cylinders when it counts... but, it's important to get every win they can for that all important home field advantage in the NFC.
