NET NATION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When was NET formed and why?
Seahawks.NET was formed in 1998 by Todd Breda, a die-hard Seahawks fan frustrated with the lack of Seahawks coverage on the Internet. At the time, the Seahawksâ„¢ official site was little more than a static splash page with little to no information or content satisfying to the average die-hard fan.
Since then, Seahawks.NET has grown into the largest Seahawks online community on the Internet with over 10,000 members and content that is worthy of the national syndication it receives (Fox Sports, Yahoo! Sports).
The site was purchased by Seahawks fan Mark Olsen in 2008. In 2015, Webmaster and Visionary Neal B. became a co-owner at Seahawks.NET.
Seahawks.NET Management:
Todd Breda - Creator & Original Owner (The Godfather)
Mark Olsen - Second Owner & Current Co-Owner
Neal B. - Co-Owner & Webmaster

Please explain your rating system.
NET Nation forums have rating systems for general guidelines. The following is a guideline for your convenience...
PG Any forum with this rating means that very casual profanity is allowed but nothing to excess. Example words: Damn, crap, piss, hell, etc.

It depends on the offense, the banned member's history with NET Nation and the admin's discretion. Lighter offenses are usually given a two week ban. Medium offenses are usually several weeks to months and major offenses are usually permanent bans. There are many variables and each case is different so nothing is written in stone.
Always remember that we reserve the right to ban anyone at any time for any reason.

Are there any organized unofficial gathering spots where I can meet all of these great fans?
NET Staff and NET Nation have endorsed Temple Billiards (2nd and Jackson, 2 blocks North of Qwest Field) as our official pregame/prefunk hangout. Pool tables, TVs to catch the early games, a non-pretentious aura, pizza and sandwiches and the usual alcoholic beverages are readily available.
Usually, Temple Billiards is not very crowded (unlike other popular prefunk spots in the area) so instead of spending most of your time waiting in line, you're enjoying your time with fellow Seahawks fans getting pumped up for the game. It opens at 10:00 for early-birds. Most start showing up about 11ish.

Why no historical forum?
The demand for it never seemed that high but we are always open to improving NET Nation and if enough folks ask for one, we will gladly add it to NET Nation.

Why is calling a post idiotic, stupid, ignorant, childish or otherwise pointing out the obvious lack of intelligence presented in the post considered attacking the poster?
It shouldn't be. Technically as long as you are not calling the poster idiotic/stupid, etc, but the message itself those things that is not attacking the poster. Our number one rule is "Attack the post, NOT the poster."
