So, with that win, Pete reached a record of 50-30 as our coach, the fastest to 50 wins in team history. But I found if you break down some numbers, you'll see Pete is doing something even more special. Midway through Pete's second season (2011) Seattle was 2-6, and 9-15 since Pete's hiring, a win percentage of .375. Not very good. But since that midway point in 2011, Seattle has been 41-15, a win percentage of .732, or just shy of an average of 12-4 every year. Even more cool, midway through 2012, we were 4-4, and since that point, Pete's record is an astounding 32-8, or an .800 win percentage, nearly an average of 13 wins a year.

But I thought the know-it-all's said his "rah rah" style won't work in the NFL?

A little birdie told Warren Sapp that Pete was a joke and wouldn't get any respect from NFL players. Nailed it!

I tweeted Warren Sapp a year or so back and asked if he still thought Pete was a joke. Oddly enough, he didn't reply.

Greatest coach Hawks have ever had. Best day in Seahawk history other than the founding and the saving by Allen was the day they hired Pete Carroll.

How is he not coach of the year? He should of had it at least last year. Just wondering is all.
It's not coach of the year anymore, it's who cleaned up the biggest mess in one season.

Too bad bringing a championship team back to the playoffs isn't considered "cleaning up the biggest mess" because it should be. It's not easy.

He can't coach. He's just living off that defense... Plus, he wouldn't be such a good coach without that defense or Russel Wilson... You take that massive franchise turn around away, take RW away and Take the best defense in NFL history away, take getting the best running back ever for a 3rd rounder away, and it's just rah, rah!
