How did that work out for Philly against us? In Philly? Brilliant game plan
Philly's hurry up is different. Kelly's philosophy is to get more offensive snaps in and wear down their opponent in doing so. It back fired big time against us as instead of wearing down our defense, they wore down their own. Most other no huddles aren't designed to run plays in rapid succession, although they do have that option. They're designed to keep the defense from substituting.
But I'm not sure how that's going to help Carolina mute the effects of the 12th man. There's usually a bit of an ebb in the crowd noise when the teams huddle up, and it's easier for the QB to be heard when they're in the huddle than when they're up on the LOS. They stay up at the LOS and the 12th man will be anticipating a snap, making it even harder to communicate. Peyton Manning can manage it, but IMO trying to call a play at the LOS amidst the crowd noise is going to scramble poor Cam's block head of a brain.
Carolina has played in some pretty noisy domes, as they play once a year in Atlanta and the Big Easy. But they haven't been up here before. They're in for a big surprise.
