Verse is probably going to be a thorn in our side for years. Probably wreck us as much or more than Donald (Donald was better but you can hold DTs, harder to hold a DE without getting noticed).

I suspect we will find out that a big part of why FSU was even as good as it was ended up because of Verse.

I wanted him for that reason. He wrecks games.
Now we likely have to contend with that.

Verse is a good player but I think he has nearly maxed out his potential. Which is probably why he slid so far down the board if I was to speculate.

Can Verse turn that corner and be a double digit sack rusher in the NFL? Or is Verse going to be a solid edge that provides 7-9 sacks per year?

I like Verse a lot. I think he'll be rock solid for a long time. His bull rush is so impressive, and it'll be a real problem for more finesse offensive tackles.

He doesn’t have Latu’s moves. I definitely think we made the right choice with Murphy.

But, I totally agree with you. He’s a wrecking ball and could be the strongest Edge I’ve seen.

A rookie…but, an incredibly strong one at that.

First thing I think is who do we have on the end that can block this dude??

I just ask myself if I’d rather the rams had verse or Murphy and it takes the sting away.
