It's a great day to be a 12th! Today is the day our Seattle Seahawks and the hated New England Patriots land in Arizona for their week leading up to Super Bowl XLIX.

I am a fan of looking at unique and/or unusual aspects of the game. Both teams are such a unique contrast of what a lot of fans think it takes to win in the NFL (Fantasy Football vs Real Football). Both teams feature a lot of non-first round skill position guys. Marshawn Lynch is the only former first round pick on either team in the skill positions. And as we know, it was Buffalo that took him in the first, not the Seahawks.

But we have a rare and unique match-up at QB in Super Bowl XLIX. For the first time since Super Bowl XXXVIII following the 2003 season, there is not at least one former first round pick starting for either team at QB. And it marks only the 9th time in 49 Super Bowl's that at least one of the starting QB's was not a first round pick.
