Heard on the car radio today (no link) that when the Pats practiced against this goal-line formation, initially Butler got beat and that Belicheck made them practice it again and again until Butler consistently drove on the ball -- without Belicheck's obsessiveness, would Butler have been as comfortable as he appeared to be on that play?

Lynch would have stomped on Butler's chest and broke Butler's ribs while simultaneously grabbing his own crotch.
BB repeatedly practices against that and he wouldn't have had anyone left to play the game.
