So if im correct, last night Kam Chancellors (Bogus) 15 yarder when he hit Zeke after the ball was tipped at the last second. The new rule is that if Kam were to get another 15 yarder in the game he'd be kicked out. Am I correct in understanding that? Accidental facemask (there are no 5 yarders any longer) / Roughing the kicker during a leap the line play. Or an actual legitimate hit when a WR comes over the middle, ducks his head, has some helmet contact.

Man that's going to bite SOMEONE at some point this year. Really really hope it isn't us.

Only certain kinds of personal fouls count towards ejection:

1. Throwing a punch, or a forearm, or kicking at an opponent, even though no contact is made.

2. Using abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials, or representatives of the League.

3. Using baiting or taunting acts or words that engender ill will between teams.

Good find. That makes me feel a little better. Although number 3. Using "WORDS" to engender ill will? Seriously? Gonna have a ref listening for F bombs and trash talk?

I think the point is to avoid anything that could escalate and cause injury and/or fighting.

Good grief, now we're treating NFL players like children on a playground. It's a violent and emotional sport, can we please keep it that way?

Basically, it is the ridiculous stupid non-sense type of crap they are trying to clean up.

No bad words, no insults, no ill will.
Next thing ya know the NFL will have safe spaces and trigger warnings.
Some day this insanity will end and we will look back and shake our heads.
( NOTE: not politics, but a reality on campuses across America and soon a reality on the field it seems )
