Penalty machine.
Complete turn style as an Olineman.

How was he not flagged for 5+ false starts?

Absolutely pathetic that he is out starting LT. Quinn was in the backfield all day long

there was a string of about 4 consecutive plays in which he got away with blatant false starts

I saw what you saw. He was constantly false starting without being called. The refs from this guys crew consistently suck and today it was in our favor with regards to Not Sowell

You are correct and about 3 were real obvious that were not called.

He was ranked below average last year. Not sure why we brought him in, not sure why we continue to put bad o-lineman in front of Wilson. Not sure why we make it hard to win. Not sure about alot of things.

If you go cheap on OL, you have more money you can save so you can pay over $8M a year to a TE that will never make a positive difference for you in the long run but will be a great $8M decoy.

Arizona is also famous for stellar OL guys on last year's team. That is why Carson always never seems to get hit and is always healthy at the end of the year.

So it is a good idea to pick up a guy not good enough for them to sign again.

How is someone that big, so bad at protecting someone behind them?

I noticed him jumping a split second before the snap as well.

I figure the refs were tired of seeing Sowell get beat so they gave him a handicap.

He's not even a replacement level player. He should be on the street for good. Awful in every way.

Don't let hawknation2016 see this thread, he's convinced Sowell is a quality player.

I didn't think he was So-Well in the pre season...some hype here about him earlier on but he is slow and not overly strong at the line.

Yea, I was confused about that as well. Why weren't they called ?

I especially love the play where he gets beat, holds Quinn, then runs over and pins Wilson into the pocket so Quinn can then sack him. Just terrible.

Hey, I wouldn't want Russell's blood on my hands either.

Okung does that too. He is also a penalty machine.

I tweeted to Brock Huard that I'd rather have Okung over Jeremy Lane any day..

We don't pay Lane we have more than enough cap space to resign Okung...

We resign Okung I truly believe this offensive line is much better...

Wtf John Schneider

I'm glad I'm not losing my mind, I thought he had a handful of false starts not get called. That guy doesn't belong on the team in my opinion.
