Tripp was the more highly regarded player at Montana. I think some folks probably wouldn't have really looked at Coyle as much if they weren't scouting Tripp. Tripp was a little bit better of an athlete in space than was Coyle (who is actually a pretty damn good athlete for a MLB), but also not quite as big and stout at the POA. Those two paired together very well at Montana and complimented each other's play and positions as MLB and OLB.

With Morgan going down, it would appear that they're going to ask Tripp to back up SLB and play ST.

4.67 40
22 reps 225
37.5" vert
120" broad jump
6.89 3 cone
3.96 shuttle

The latter two stats were tops for OLBs that year. His arms are only 30.75", however.

For reference, Coyle didn't get an invite, but he went:

4.60 40
25 reps 225
37" vert
115" broad jump
6.74 3 cone
4.28 shuttle
32.5" arms

Wait......did I miss something? When did Morgan go down?

I'm not sure what that dude in those tweets is smoking, but Marsh doesn't have any trouble in the flat what so ever. Assuming we're actually in a cover 3 anyway. If you want to see athleticism in the flat, go back to when Marsh took every angle away from AP on an outside run mano a mano for a -1 loss or when he did the same to Cam Newton.

Marsh is going to look good as the new Irvin. The more reps the better. I like Tripp, but Marsh has been here, done it, and he's still got a lot more potential. Especially if he can kill those penalties....
