It would be super-great to have the Offense dominate, earn 60% of the clock and of the plays, by pounding the ball effectively.

IIRC, Saints suck against the run this year.

Actually they are #18 vs. the run and #30 vs. the pass.

Tukuafu up the gut for two downs. Then play action run with Tukuafu and pass deep to Tukuafu after he comes through the line and runs 40 yards downfield.

While the Saints defense isn't great against the run, they aren't the worst. The Dolphins are statistically worse run defense and the Seahawks seemed to have trouble running against them. That was a home game for the Seahawks too.

If there's a game to get the run game going, it's this one.

Aside from playing SF again, I'm not sure we go up against a more favorable matchup in the run game this entire season.

The longer I watch Carroll the more I realize how he does a crazy amount of roster re-evaluation (including correcting some earlier over-thinkings) every week. People like Tuku need to stay a Seahawk all 16 weeks plus playoffs.

The Saints offense likes to push tempo as well, similar to a run and gun team in basketball. Establishing the run sounds nice until Brees drops two 80 yard bombs on you and you're playing from behind.

Would sure be fun to see not just CMike but AC and CJ too have big, big rushing numbers.
