A post I made about this popped up on my Facebook memories today...

The Seahawks held 5 of their last 6 opponents in the 2014 regular season to 7 POINTS OR LESS. The other game was Philly, who scored 14...and they got a TD off a botched Ryan punt that set them up with a very short field.

d. Arizona 19-3
d. SF 19-3
d. Philly 24-14
d. SF 17-7
d. Arizona 35-6
d. STL 20-6

Incredible. There were not any true high-flying offenses in that group (Cardinals had Ryan Lindley at QB with Palmer hurt), but to hold NFL teams to 7 points or less in that many games is insane. And the Eagles had been giving defenses fits that season, Chip Kelly's 1st.

I miss that defense. And to think, that defense was the follow-up to our historic 2013 unit. Talk about domination in back-to-back seasons.
