So just what will Sheldon bring to the table?

The Essential Online Seattle Football Fan Forum Community. There simply is NO substitute. LANGUAGE RATING: PG-13
  • The best thing about this, they are together and looking to be something special, LOB and Death Row, how many cool names can we have for our units on defense. This has to be exciting for Richardson, appears since he is participating he has bought in.

Thanks. Great photo and while the title relates to a different story... Death Row is a pretty great nickname for a great NFL D!

  • I like the nickname too, but they better produce. Ordinarily you shouldn't give yourself a nickname and certainly not before you've earned it (as a group). But it's ok to have a little fun as this seems to be.

I do love the self imposed expectation/pressure.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I mean seriously-- take a look at all the greatest Defensive Lines throughout NFL history ... they've all got immortal nicknames: The Steel Curtain, the Fearsome Foursome, etc.

I've actually been trying to come up with an appropriate nickname for this group. After all, we've got the Legion of Boom. Honestly, I think Michael Bennett might have just given them one -- DEATH ROW. I like it.

Only Compton ass Carroll could build and SUCCESSFULLY coach a squadron like ours. And I will always love him for that. The world could use more people like Pete Clay Carroll! Real true OG Triple OG!

Fine old geezer have your fun. Should I be sorry that I was thirteen before I moved from California to Oregon? I guess I'm in the 25 Club so stop disrespting non 38ers already it's old and pissing me off.

As to the game against Green Bay? They're shitting bricks. Believe it and they should be. SR should make this defense 2001 Baltimore level historical even with the flag football rules.

This guy produces when misused and bored. He is a one man wrecking crew when he cares. Well he damn cares now. We may not win on Sunday but it will be extremely close.

Put this game in Seattle? It would be a 10-14 point win for Seattle. Erin is ridiculous in Lambeau to be honest though.

  • I thought this player was a good pickup but after watching the ESPN pregame show where Woodson, Hasselbeck & Rex Ryan where drooling over themselves over this move I'm now giddily excited to see this play out.

  • After game one, SR pretty much brought everything we hoped he would bring. Consistent pocket collapse. Ability to make plays when the QB moved up in the pocket to elude edge guys. Ability to force the QB to throw early.

Dominance against the run. Richardson made the rest of the line better.

It was quite refreshing to watch the consistent pressure up the middle when he was in! What a difference!
