I looked around and with this only coming out today I don't think it's already posted. I found that "variance" number interesting in that although this year's D was not as good overall, they didn't have as many up and downs.

Echo's what some were saying here at the beginning of the season, credit the fans here for their insight ahead of mediots waiting till the last game to recognize what some here knew and hoped for during what we seen in pre season.
