We know Kris Richard spent some time in Seattle and has some insider information about how our team operates.
Do you feel his presence might impact Russell's play? We can see his imprint in the Dallas Secondary. They are aggressive and get after receivers.
The way we know Pete, I'm sure he will have some surprises for the Cowgirls ...
Apparently, he is a coaching target for the Jets, Dolphins, ... etc.

Other than Byron Jones, who is a freak athlete, the secondary has been the weakness of the Dallas defense. They are ranked 16th in pass defense DVOA, despite a strong pass rush. The middle of the field has been particuarily vulnerable for Dallas.

Sounds like a good time to start using the TEs

Dallas is ranked 18th in pass defense DVOA on passes to the left side of the field. That is opposite side of the field from where Jones typically plays. Richard and Dallas DC Rod Marinelli are using Jones in the same way the Seahawks used to use Richard Sherman from 2011-16.

Wilson is particuarily adept at throwing to his left, so that might be another area to exploit.

Yup. Dallas is ranked 19th in defending the TE, allowing 56 yards per game to TEs.

When I hear TE, I want to see Fant catch a few balls, then run over a few DBs and carry them into the End zone.

Dallas is ranked 26th at defending RBs in pass coverage. Interestingly, both the Seahawks and Cowboys allowed 7.7 passes to be completed to the RB per game. Yet, the Seahawks finished ranked 13th at defending the RB out of the backfield, which seems weirdly high to me. I thought we were mostly terrible this year at covering the RB. But apparently, we were above average, overall.

The Seahawks ranked 10th in DVOA at defending the TE, another surprising stat.

It's going to depend a lot on the OL. Cards showed if you get in RW's face you can stop him. If Sweezy can't go the defensive game plan should be to collapse the pocket with extreme pressure. When the offense stays in 3 and short the defense can't tee off. RW is great when he has all day. Defenses know that and they also know he can't escape like he used to when he was younger or perhaps he's been told not to try.
