2014 Player Intro Idea(s)

Man, I love that intro with Kurt Russell for the Seahawks in SBXLVIII. I was thinking earlier how cool it would be if they showed that clip before player introductions this coming season? Even though it's referencing the Broncos a bit, the overall clip is pretty general and badass. Mixed with the Metallica tune behind him, I think it would be a natural and cool way to introduce the players this season! Thoughts?

Paul Allen has enough money to hire Kurt Russell to do 8 individual intros for each home game next year.

Do that, edit out Golden Tate with Percy Harvin assuming Percy hasn't broken in half yet.. and BOOM.. winner!

I like the idea a lot, Todd. You know what's funny is that I hadn't seen that clip up until just now.

I'm still waiting for them to play Voodoo Child as the player intro song though. At least for just one game. How the hell haven't they done that yet? I'm sorry, but I've just never been able to get hyped up to Bittersweet Symphony. It's a good thing I'm naturally hyped. I can't believe Paul Allen of all people, the Hendrix obsessed junkie himself (I'm one too), hasn't demanded this. It would be timeless and it would quickly become a Sunday tradition...

Yeah that's true about the Tate footage. Rats. That alone makes it unlikely...

We need some kind of exclusive LOB introduction.

Man I cannot get enough of this intro. Watched it 6 times just today and its only 1:30 pm.......

That was pure awesomeness, but ruined a little bit at the time when Russell did the Broncos intro a minute later. They should have had a different person for each team.

Agreed, as soon as he started on the Donkos, I was underwhelmed. Before that I was giddy like Throwdown at a Bud Light Mangorita convention.

It won't happen because that footage is owned by the network (fox I think) not the NFL.
