Wow, so opposing defenses never contest his release off the line? Unreal.

Thought it was an interesting stat and can't see why teams would allow that.

That is interesting. I suppose coaches don't like the chances a linebacker can jam and trail Gronk off the line of scrimmage without giving up a huge play.

It's all about personnel.

When the LOB and LB's are all healthy, we can press cover/bump and run because we have the talent and experience to play man.

When guys like Simon, Johnson, Coyle, Burley, Morgan, KPL and Shead are playing? Gotta play zone to protect guys getting toasted one on one.

Funny thing this morning on the Herd , Sal Pal was bragging about Hoge and how he discovered that same stat. 2 different puerile a week apart, same show trying to take credit for the same stat.
