The question isn't what his last 15 games were, but whether or not he'll last 15 games this year.

Well thats spanning two or three seasons at this juncture, I don't think many doubt his ability, they doubt his durability.

alright, just for fun (and the fact that I know stats are bent out of shape ALL the time) I took a look.

Palmer played in 6 games last year and won them all. they were against

Chargers
Redskins
Raiders
Eagles
Cowboys
Rams


So where did the previous 9 games come from? He played all 16 the previous season, so that adds up to 25. So let's see where the line was drawn....

Well, looky there, they drew the line after week 7 the previous year (2013), the week he lost to............drumroll please............Seattle.

The first 7 games of that year, he was a whopping 3-4, which makes his record in Arizona 18-6, which is definitely respectable, but not exactly the same as 13-2.

Only two seasons. He played all 16 two years ago, which is why it seemed weird for Ringless to make a cut-point at 15 games.

It's not weird though, as 15 games is the magic number where you get to erase out the 13 interceptions he threw in 7 games.

As is the case with all seemingly random time periods when it comes to stats traded aruond by sports fans: they're never random. They're always hiding something. :lol:

I would think Arians and Carson would work very well together. It is certainly good news for Cardinal fans.

I use blow darts so I can get them from a distance

Those same cut off points have been used in Seattles favor to lets not pretend any different. And I do recall that Palmer had said he really struggled the first half of the season with picking up Arians offense...

Obviously there is no way for me to contest the durability issue. However I can only hope he can survive a season and this time of year hopes are high
