Good for Tony, happy to see he won't be losing too much money, though I think he was due a $500k roster bonus in addition to that base salary if he had not been released. He's from the South and played the first seven years of his career for Jacksonville and Miami, so hopefully this move works out for him.
Ironically, he will probably be once again competing with Clinton McDonald for playing time.
Tampa Bay has quite a group of DTs now: Gerald McCoy, Henry Melton, Akeem Spence, Clinton McDonald, and now McDaniel as well. Hmmm . . . no dead money if they release McDonald.
