That running back looks like the real deal. I recall some of you guys wanting him with our pick.

Jay Ajayi from Boise State is the real deal.

I think he started off slow because they brought in Foster, he may have felt a bit disrespected. I don't think he'll keep up the 200+ yards a game, but he'll easily break 100 per game for a bit.

I also think he runs like 'Shawn.

You look at this guy and you realize why Chris Peterson is so successful at Washington right now.

He recruited this guy at Boise State as a "three star" running back, and I think Rivals had him down as only a 2 star...

Right now he's looking like a Pro-bowl NFL player. How many stars is that in high school terms? ;)

Petersen did that at Boise for years. One of the best coaches in football at developing talent.

Ajayi only dropped draft wise because his knee gave a lot of teams concern.

My friends here that are avid BSU fans said the exact same thing. They really hoped that the Hawks would draft him. 100 yds per game is just fine if it fits the resume they want in Miami. That would fit us too.

Agree with the other poster in the thread that said that there was a concern about the injury near the end of the season. THat is why his draft stock went so low.

Definitely a guy I wanted a lot. I am not a Boise fan either.

Jay Ajayi is the new darling of the British NFL press as he was born in London.
