- Selection: Jihaad Campbell: LB/Edge (Alabama): 6’2: 235 lbs: 32’’ 4/8 (Arms): 4.52 (40-dash), 1.53 (10-split), 10’7 (Broad): There is a decent chance Campbell last until #18. I think this is BPA at this point of the draft. I would love for this to happen. You possibly knock out 2 positions with one pick. He can play MIKE, WILL, and EDGE. He can compete with Knight for the starting spot and rotate to rush during passing downs. He is great in coverage, great in blitzing, and has the alpha mentality. Defensive weapon. Although he’s light, you’re not using him as a full-time EDGE. You don’t need him to set the edge and hold up against the run. You want him to rush screaming off the corner. That 1.53 split is elite! I remember watching Devon Witherspoon and seeing his energy and how he popped on the field. Campbell is giving the same feeling.

2nd Round: (#50)
- Selection: Tate Ratledge: G (Georgia): 6’6: 308 lbs: 32’’ 2/8: 10’’ 3/8 (hands), 4.97 (40-dash), 1.72 (10-split): 7.38 (3-Cone): 32’’ (Vertical), 9’5 (Broad): He was playing with injuries in 2024 and wasn’t fully healthy. In Ratledge, you’re getting a potential tone-setter at the guard position. Just proved he can move and is a great athlete. He didn’t run a short shuttle but we can assume it will be a pretty decent time based on his 40 and 3-cone. He reaches the secondary with ease and can hold up in protection. He is a mean blocker that likes to finish and pancake dudes. Big fan of him. Graded well in zone blocking and fits the wide-zone scheme.

3rd Round: (#82)
- Selection: Riley Leonard: QB: (Notre Dame): 6’3.5: 216 lbs: 9.5’’ (hands): This is the polarizing pick. It took me many months to come back around on Leonard. This pick is not about now. It’s about the future. The Seahawks might have to trade up to get a QB, but here I stay to get the signal caller. Leonard is a great athlete with wheels and explosiveness. He showed a pretty good arm during the Combine. He made all of the throws. Leonard has a few things to work on. Known to be able to process but still needs to fully grow in this area when he’s in the league. He has to be able to make full-field reads and trust in the play instead of taking off right away. He has mostly clean mechanics and a smooth release. He doesn’t possess the strongest arm but the west coast/Kubiak system can hide that weakness. Elite mobility and has shown to adapt to new places. Carries himself very well and has a very “one of the boys” attitude and persona. Leonard is going to be 23 by the start of the 2025 NFL season. If he has to sit for a season or two, he’ll still be pretty young.

4th Round: (#136)
- Selection: Jacob Parish: CB: (Kansas State): 5’9: 191 lbs: 30’’ 7/8 (Arms): 4.35 (40-dash): 37.5’’ (Vertical): 10’9 (Broad): 12 reps (Bench): Small dude with an attitude that will hit you. He reminds me a lot of DJ Reed. Sticky in coverage and showed great speed at the Combine. You watch him and he’s constantly in the hip pocket of a WR. He is a willing tackler and is very competitive.

5th Round: (#171)
- Selection: Tory Horton: WR (Colorado State): 6’2: 196 lbs: 4.41 (40-dash): 9’’ (Hands): 30’’ ⅝ Arms): 37.5’’ (Vertical): I was a big fan of him before his injury. Explosive WR with the ball in hands. Was on the verge of being a real dark horse in this class before the ACL. He was cleared to run only a couple of weeks prior to his 40-time during the Combine. He still ran a 4.41. More in the tank for sure. Horton is still developing as a route runner but he has the ideal traits to be a quality Z-WR. He has speed, quickness, and YAC ability. Mostly a hands-catcher and uses his arms to extend away from his body. I think getting him in to develop behind D.K and JSN would be great. He might fall to the 4th-5th range because of his ACL. He was out for almost half of the 2024 season. Another name to consider with similar size and traits is Chimere Dike from Florida. Talk about confusing if he's drafted. D.K and Dike...

6th Round: (#183)
- Selection: Tim Smith: DT (Alabama): 6’4: 302 lbs: 33’’ (arms): Steady-eddy type of player. He’s someone that can play NT or 1T and is going to be in on early downs. He can be a nice rotational piece that might develop into a starter. His teammates speak very highly of him as a person and as a leader in the locker room. He lacks juice and is probably going to go in this range because of the deep DT class.

6th Round: (#210)
- Selection: Trikweze Bridges: CB/SAF (Florida): 6'2: 200 lbs: Really big CB and has versatility being a safety as well. Florida used him everywhere. That is going to really appeal to Mac. He has good speed and wants to hit dudes from the CB position. He started to play CB more for Florida during its last 4 games of the season and more than held his own. He excelled. Not many clips of him online.
7th Round: (#234)
- Selection: Robbie Ouzts: TE/FB (Alabama): 6'3: 274 lbs: 4.91 (40-dash): 1.64 (10-split): 4.45 (Short Shuttle), 7.34 (3-Cone): 34’’ (Vertical): 9’11 (Broad): 26 (Bench): A really versatile player. You’re drafting him to play H-Back, Full-Back, and traditional TE. He’s not really a devastating blocker despite his size but is always on-time and does what he needs to do. Elite mustache. We all need an OOOOuzts whenever he does something among the crowd.
