.net has trolls with nothing of substance say.
Chevy….weve went over a decade without drafting a QB.

I’m not trolling you. I actually like your mock. I suppose you could say I’m trolling JS.

But, we’re not doing the drafting.

I believe they need to start taking shots in the draft…I was ok with Geno…I’m ok with Darnold (TBD). I’d really like to see us ‘develop’ a guy…homegrown….something akin to what GB did with Love.

They certainly don’t grow on trees but, if you don’t try….you stay filling up the most important position on the field with ‘backups’.

I highly doubt they grab a QB. Would be pleasantly surprised if they do.

Your crazy if you think that’s the price for Sam Darnold
I think what's crazy is believing that Tyler takes over for Darnold mid-season.

(or that Tyler is even drafted at all by the Hawks when their primary need is the O-Line)

I agree... Darnold is the guy for at least the next two years... regardless if, or not, the team drafts a QB this year.

I think JS is watching for an Aaron Rodgers/Jordan Love your thrower that can sit behind Darnold for 2 years.
Look at how Mahomes was at Texas Tech, then how good he got sitting behind Alex Smith, while benefitting from Reid's tutelage.
The trick is finding that athletic QB that can process quickly, but that has never had opportunity to sit and learn.
I think Washington's going QB is going to be one of the best QBs in the league, as long as they can protect him. I also think Shedeur could be the guy, but he's need an extremely good pass boxing like with a running game. He's kind of slight though, so I don't see him as a guy That can bring a team back in the the quarter when the defenders are all over him.

Brunell, Hass, Love, Rodgers, all had time to develop in Green Bay, not all were athletes, they could move if needed but they were smart, processed information quickly and knew how to use what was given to them. Don't think Pete really had a interest in developing a QB much, wanted a plug and play guy.
