An interesting article from Sports Illustrated about signing Aaron Rodgers as Geno Smith replacement. By a wide margin, 12s on dot net didn't want to grant an extension to Geno and preferred seeing more Howell than Geno. We have calls for Howell during game time, almost every game. Fans have opined about Geno 2025 and where they stand on Geno vs Howell.

I'm not sure if the current Rodgers would be as good as Howell, but he ought to be better than Geno in the minds of 12s. At worst, we can have Rodgers back up Howell and provide some mentorship.

I was watching the Jets-Colts game yesterday (with my daughter the Jets fan) before the Seahawks game. They were saying that Aaron Rodgers' last 300 yard passing game was in December 2021, 3 years ago. I know Jets fans are wishing they had never traded for the guy.

There was a long ESPN article on the negative impact of Rodgers on the Jets last week:

So he's well past his prime and a jerk.

He's still under contract for next year. Just because some fans don't want to sign him to an extension doesn't mean they all want him gone after the season.

Article is from 2023 and says he’s on GB still. I’m pretty sure Rodgers time in the NFL is done soon, he looks awful on the Jets. And I’d hate having to “cheer” for him.

On the other hand, poor Rodgers never worked under a true genius, his behavior will change once he finds the true master.
Yea - he needs a couple more handfuls of psychedelic's and the offseason to meditate in his basement dungeon, or 'whatever' he called it was. Nope X100 :)
