Thanks again kidhawk, as ever you are right on the ball. Always appreciated!!!

Sims could be an interesting addition as he is a rather fearless returner more quick than fast. He's another experienced sleeper addition that could be a camp body or a valuable add.

Here's a WIKI on him:

Updated.

The team clearly seems to be setting itself up for a BPA draft. To me given stated viewpoints about positional values the OLine may not be the top pick but with a few solid defensive players available at pick 18 the team is well armed to get 'Their Guys" with the number of picks the team has in the first 92. However if JS whiffs on these picks his time here is certainly something that could be in question.

Thing is the Seahawks don’t have a 6th rd. draft pick this draft which would be the draft pick compensation if they did sign this player, so at the least there is some intrigue surrounding this visit. Curious situation

NFLPA.Com has updated its cap report. https://nflpa.com/reports/public-salary-cap-report

It has the Seahawks with $36,891,038 in space.

OTC shows $36,082,982
Spotrac is $36,896,050

I tend to trust NFLPA as the most 'official' measure. Spotrac matches the total almost right on. OTC is off by about $800K. When I have a bit more time I'll try to find the difference. Overall the difference doesn't mean much, just us curious minds want to know.

The good news is cap space won't be a problem going into the season as we we've been a bit tighter the last few years.

Thanks John, as ever you remain a cap guru, much appreciated!!!

The difference is close to the annual salary of one lower level player. I have been curious why the two sites are frequently different.

The team will be in even better shape capwise next season although there will be significantly fewer players under contract at the beginning of the next league year.
