If I'm Joe Namath I tell Aaron no, or pay me a 12 Million to wear number 12, you can afford it.

Supposedly Namath gave his blessing, but Rodgers will wear his old college number (# 8) instead...

Well good, NY Jets have only 1 number 12 like we have only 1 number 80.

Seems like a reasonable deal for both sides, but I can't see this as anything other than a PR move by the Jets. A way to keep interest by the fans in a team that can't seem to get their act together. The Packers really had no other option but to trade him, but I wonder if the Packers are happy with what they currently have or if they will be looking to move up to take a qb in this draft.

Not your reporting David, just my feeling in general about this blowhard.

It will be interesting to see how Rodgers and Saleh get along, especially if they don't win right away. Saleh isn't the type of guy to take a back seat to anyone and Rodgers will want to run the offense his way. Get your popcorn ready I think... 🍿

Where were you yesterday Pmed?
Wasn’t paying attention to any sports news evidently.

I was attempting to prepare myself mentally for surgery today, tried to get my blood alcohol and nicotine levels up to a range that would get me through today.

Complete tear of Bicep tendon.
Shit happens when you one arm curl 200 lbs.

Class on Joes side, class on Rodgers side if he doesn’t wear it in spite of Joes approval
Yes AR is wearing his school #8..I honestly think he's done after this season anyway
he has to play to collect his $60 million final year on deal.

Well in spite of his success I’ve always thought of AR as kind of a winey lil bitch (douche bag) if you will.

If he’s actually not wearing Joes number by choice and out of respect. I’ve got to give him props/kudos.
He’s earned just a bit of respect from me.

If I were a GM, I would be cutting a deal for one of the other Jet QBs, maybe throw them a 2nd or 3rounder. I saw a lot of skill to build on from the Jets, although the injured one will be the best if he comes back from injury...
