Assuming Sam Darnold plays acceptably and Lock becomes the backup after the team deals with the OLine at G, T, and C, what are the next critical draft priorities? Fixing the OLine is the biggest priority.

After that my priorities: (in terns of real priorities the BAP at one of these positions raises or lowers their priority) I just want tough take no prisoners slobberknockers.

1. JMO but this is a very good year for Edge rushers, MYkel Williams, Jalon Walker, Donovan Ezeiruaku maybe. This has been a continuing need for many seasons and I think the team could be well positioned to find a very solid addition. To me this is the second priority after the OLine now it appears the team seems set for a bit a QB. As well the team could lose Mafe after this next season.

2. I believe it has been reported the team is looking for a big fast and physical WR, and perhaps a speed guy. I like Savion Williams as a prospect, there are others perhaps Emeka Egbuka early.

3. There is a need for a quality TE or two of whom could be a pure blocker/FB when needed, I like mason Taylor and Elijah Arroyo and as a blocker Jackson Hawes.

4. After this there are some quality players at NT and the team needs THAT GUY at NT. Ideal choice would be Kenneth Grant, but a sleeper is the Duck Jamaree Caldwell there is lots of deep depth here.

5 . CB is always a need and given Woolen has been inconsistent and will want a big contract After this year finding that guy who is both long fast as blues and instinctive might be tough. Here I'm just not sure.

6. Safety depth. Here I'm just not sure.

7. The real question is will the team draft a QB this year?

Other bonus picks might be a RB or a off the ball LB.

I think after OL and before your 1, 2 & 3 listing's, DT/NT and a big Kam/KE45-like safety, CB or DB to round-out MM's D-scheme of 75% nickel/3 safety sets would jack this defense up.
Also a KJ like OLB would plug another hole.
Hopefully the #18 fixation of Loveland, McMillan, Shiny Objects doesn't deter John from fixing the OL.

OL/DL is always our biggest needs.

Year in and year out.

Every other position is a luxury pick.

QB is right after OL/DL for the most part.

JS will most likely favor the biggest impact players available over position, at least with the first several picks. With more picks than normal, I think he's open to sliding up & down the board to get the ones he wants.

Man after my own heart, this is my opinion as well. When a team neglects the trenches, eventually it will come back to haunt you in spades like it is now.

Build the foundation.

OL and DL are always a need no matter how good you are at the position or not. It’s always a need.

Some others will be needs this year like TE, WR, a third off the ball LB, 3rd safety, CB (I like Jobe but we can upgrade) and FB. Edge is always a need as well.
