We'll be in town for this series this year arriving about 6 PM July 4th & flying out the evening of July 8th.

This will be the first time ever in a major American city for the July 4th & looking forward to take in a world class fireworks display. We will be staying in the Capitol hill area @ a little B&B a few blocks north of the Link station & should arrive there about 7:30PM.

Any recommendations for dinner with a good place to watch the fireworks that we could reasonably get to in that timeframe from our accommodations on Capitol Hill? A restaurant or bar with rooftop seating or access to the roof & a reasonable view of the fireworks over South Lake Union would be ideal.

I'm monitoring the Sky View Observatory, mbar's & the Mountaineering Club's website for when they start letting people book for their view party but I expect to be shut out so looking for other good options where I can possibly get a reservation & maybe even closer to where we will be. Also any insight into when these places start taking reservations or how best to get a table/spot would be helpful.

Also looking for a good seafood restaurant for Saturday or Sunday after the game. Would prefer somewhere downtown, on Capitol Hill, or somewhere along the 1st Hill Streetcar Line on Broadway but am considering Salty's on Alki Beach or Duke's since they're easily accessible using the water taxi & SLU Streetcar respectively. Thoughts?

Looking forward to visiting your fine city again since we haven't been since before covid & it should be a competitive series since it looks like both offenses suck.

Just curious why CH? There are better places to stay in Seattle. Good seafood? Anthony's.

We've stayed all over the downtown core over the years from the Space Needle area to the Pioneer Square area & were just looking for something a bit different. We also understand how to get around using public transport which makes things easier.

Is there something wrong with where we're staying?
