The 4 pick Seahawks will most likely fill their primary needs at DL & DE/Edge with their first two picks, so they likely may have to wait until the middle rounds (4/5) to fill their LB needs. With slim pickings, how about an undersized but VERY productive guy as a developmental LB? His kind of numbers, even from a smaller school are very impressive.

Too small for DE/edge, but as a linebacker, there may be some upside as a round 4/5 pick? I'm not sure on his length or long speed but he does appear to have some serious get-off burst & ++++ production. Check him out at the combine.
IMO-Smith would be no worse than a 2-nd rounder if he were bigger and could play edge in the NFL, but as a LB, he could be a value pick if he can be had in round 4. If nothing else, this guy makes a lot of stuff happen when he plays.

-------> (+ 2 punt returns for 51-yds, a 25.5-yd average & 1-TD (a VERY unusual stat for a DE/edge guy.)

Smith had a pretty impactful game with 8-tkls, 6-solo, 4.5-TFL, and 2-sacks against a not too bad Utah team.

A late round LB option (Rd-6/7/UDFA) could potentially be a smaller school guy with + stats that are overlooked.
