Did the Seahawks just officially become Russell's team?

Comeback win and bailing out the defense

21-30, 345 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT

No Marshawn
No Graham

Just Wilson and Mr. Reliable Doug Baldwin torching Pittsburgh all day.

Big day for Wilson and this franchise IMO. It was transitioning to be his team and I think it just happened.

This is Wilson's team.

He's done this before (though obviously not with so many TDs), but doing it on a day where Marshawn is out is symbolic in a way.

Yup

We've heard for years the Seahawks win because of the defense and Marshawn Lynch.

Neither showed up today.

It's been Wilson's team since the first mini camp after he was drafted, IMO.

Not by the players IMO

The identity of the team was Marshawn Lynch on offense and the defense

That's starting to change

Wish he could make plays from the pocket though, too bad he's so short :)

I think Russ and Bevell may actually benefit from being free from all the local and internal whining/crying over Lynch/Graham touches.

Interesting perspective. Never thought of that.

It just seems that Jimmy was progressing immensely in a week to week basis. I think if he is lost for the season , we will miss out on some special plays.

Sherman showed up today. Looked like Sherman of the last few years. Hopefully he has his chip back and starts spreading it.

How about that nobody Receiver Jermaine Kearse, and his TWO TD's?

I definitely see where you're coming from, but IMO it became RW's team after the OT win at Chicago in his rookie year. While he's looked at by some (idiots) that say he's a game manager along for the ride, he is ultimately the engine in this machine. Nature of the position unless you're a Trent Dilfer/Brad Johnson type, which RW is absolutely NOT.

Kearse haters are quiet today. Surprised they are not out in force condemning him because of that one he didn't get his arms under

Glad he showed up today. Where's he been for the last month?

Kearse was Russell's 3rd read on passing plays most of the past month.
If you barely get one read and only sometimes two reads, the 3rd guy won't see many balls.
OK, so I'm partly making that up, but the point is Russell having a split second longer from his protection allows him to find Kearse more often. Plus we simply threw a lot today.
