Michael Penix dreams will be for naught. He will be drafted by a shit team and never see the field for long, his career will thereby be a few years as backup, a couple starts with no team around him PROVING he sucks, then out of the league

I have been thinking either Giants or Patriots trading to the back of the 1st rd and drafting Penix with him lucky to make it past his rookie contract. Best case scenario for him is to get drafted by Minnesota

We got Howell for late round pick swap, he has a ton of upside and jump so many are quick to dismiss. They aren’t taking a QB at 16. So many are going to be pissed when they select Cooper Dejuan at that spot. Not this guy though.

What the Howell trade did was enable them to draft anything, any time.

We will need a qb sooner rather than later. Can’t wait forever to try and get one. That said we also need DL, LB, Safety and OL. And Lockett is coming to the end of his career, need a guy to replace him at some point.

But if they don’t take a qb early, I hope they grab Travis late.

Cooper DeJean is a good player and a great fit for Mac's defense. But at the same time this draft is deep with DBs that fit Macs defense and DB is the strength of the team easily.
