Does anyone listen and understand Fade??? Here’s what it’s about you want to be the best beat the best, that plain, that simple. We WANT the division and it’s ours. We win and keep on winning that’s what happens. This team wins the division we have home field throughout. The SuperBowl then goes through Seattle. We have a game up and one behind Frisco but we get them at HOME. We win the tiebreaker. So many variables right now but as long as we take care of US we will be okay. This defense was missing Clowney but who steps up, a guy we were so critical of, Ansah. Quintin Jefferson? A beast. This secondary is starting to find their way and like all Pete teams we get better with time.

Plus we have one of the greatest QB’s this league has ever seen.

It never mattered, all that matters is that the Seahawks hang with them and take care of business. All of the teams on remaining schedules for SF, LA and SEA are basically similar but the Niners have been at home for their last 3 games and have 3 on the road with the finale being in Seattle. As long as we are within reach or even tied going into that last game it is on the Seahawks to bring it to the Niners at home.

We are not running through Min, Car, LA, ARI without a loss. I’d be pleased as punch if we did but thats a bunch of tough teams. If we play at all like we did against PHI, we will lose to Minny.

I don’t know where this optimism stems from. A month ago everyone was lamenting our team and it’s wet paper bag defense and reliance on all world QB performances and missed FGs by the opponents. Know we are a juggernaut?

Take any help you can get I say. 50% of SB victories are luck. We’ve been on the wrong side of the luck equation so we should know.

The Math goes like this:

The SEAHAWKS lose 1 game, but not to the 49ers.

Seahawks - 13-3

The 49ers lose 1 game, and also lose to the Seahawks in week 17.

49ers - 13-3

The Saints lose 1 game.

13-3

The Packers win out and go 13-3, w/Minny being their only tough game left.

The Seahawks would likely win the 3 way tiebreaker. Between SEA, NO, & GB.

New Orleans holds the 2-way over Seattle. (Still get a bye week!)

If Seattle goes 13-3 with another win over the Niners they are vitually guaranteed a bye week if not the #1 seed outright.

SF have two tough games on deck.
@BAL
@New Orleans being really good chances for losses. If BAL can't wax them, and New Orleans falters. Then the Seahawks will just have to keep winning.

Because if the Seahawks win out, Seattle wins the division. Seattle controls their own destiny. They don't need help if they win out. But I already laid out a plausible scenario if they were to lose a game.

I expect every team to lose at least 1 game from here on out, except maybe the Packers who have the easiest schedule.

Seattle just has to make sure that if they do drop a game it's not to the 49ers.
