The Miami Dolphins and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio have mutually agreed to part ways after one season together, the team announced Wednesday.

He's a good DC. Perhaps a bit older but one who has had a lot of success in the NFL.

Not surprised to see him move on. The Dolphins defense played great at times but there was a lot of sloppiness, a lack of discipline, and players making business decisions. This had to happen if the Dolphins want to be contenders in 2024.

The Dolphins did have a lot of injuries, but even without injuries this wasn't a team that could beat 4 teams back-to-back in the playoffs. They were sloppy and undisciplined from Week 1.

Ya I do think think they weren't close to the other playoff teams in the afc. Although part of that was Tua a well.

The Dolphins were 10-1 against non-playoff teams. They were 1-5 against contenders with the 1 win being a come from behind 22-20 win with a FG as time expired. They have huge potential but also multiple issues.
