They have the 9ers over the Rams (+125) which to me is odd. Rams right behind them but they have both the Seahawks and Cardinals with the same chances (+600). While some of you will no doubt say "that sounds about right", I guess I am slightly surprised they see us no different than the Cardinals. I guess all the moving pieces sure, and perhaps my blue and green glasses are on pretty tightly, but I think we will be better than them this year. Fighting for first place better, even. Thoughts?

I see the division between us and the Rams. Can we take a step back? Yes. But we can also take a step forward, it's literally 50/50. Our defense with an offseason under their belt and the same group from the end of the season being back instead of the group from the first half of the season, I think they only get better. I don't think the 49ers took much of a step back, McCaffrey healthy all season could be the wild card there. The Rams will be good, their D is a good young group and will get better. I think the Cardinals continue to get better. We take them for granted because we always mop the floor with them but they compete against good teams in and out of the division.

The draft will tell a lot this year.

Not surprising to say the least.

I think the 49ers are not viewed in a weakened state because they are simply reloading just like the Seahawks are this off season.

I actually expect the Niners to have somewhat of a comeback year in 25. Most of their losses were by one score last year and CMC missed heaps.

The main reason though is because I hate them and I doubt I’m gifted another Tomsula era.

If they do underperform though, does that mean Shanny is officially on the hot seat?

I agree with you.

I think the Niners will take a step back this season while the Cards will remain the Cards.

It's going to be between us and the LA Sheep.

Simply put, "Draft King" can't be trusted.

Everyone who follows the Hawks knows our head coach is a certified genius, our defense is top 5 in the league. Our GM just upgraded the entire offense with a new OC, QB, WR and TE. Most importantly, with the new OC, the Schneider line will finally shine!

I would be supremely disappointed if we don't win 12 games in 2025.

This is a bit you're doing, right?

49ers lost a ton of FAs, way more than any other team in the NFCW.

None of the free agents they lost really matter.

And they have plenty of draft picks and are picking higher.

All three teams, Rams, 49ers, Cards, are like boogers that get stuck to your finger after picking your nose. You try your hardest to flick em off, but they just get stuck to the other side of your finger...

IMO, 49ers are a crap shoot this year, Cards are definitely the sleeper team to watch, and the Rams, their defense is going to cause some teams problems. The best thing Seahawks can do is establish a run game, if that means drafting a tougher RB, one that can move 1000+lbs across the sticks, then draft another RB.

The Hawks are a large question mark again...no idea which direction they will blow up. Nobody can really gauge what this product is going to look like yet. I'd put them at 3rd too...its just the safe bet right now.

I so wish you were a color analyst.

SF has some big names on the team and prior to injuries were probably the 2nd best team in football behind the Eagles. I can see why someone would have them first. The Rams made the playoffs and played well on the road. We did not make the playoffs and lost DK. We swapped Geno for Darnold and picked up no big names so far so putting us at third is defensible. But if we are +600 then AZ should be +1000.
